a) Firstly, check if you have any joint pains in your legs or for that matter any other pain related to your bones. If you do have, then you must consult a doctor before jogging. This is because, most probably, you will be jogging on hard surfaces and this can be harmful. This brings us to the next point.b) Surface: The second most important thing that you need to see is the surface that you jog on. Concrete is a big no. It can do a lot of damage to your joints and can wear the cartilage that prevents the joints from rubbing against each other. Tar is slightly better. The best surface to jog on would be a dust road or loose sand of the beach.
d) You need to jog on a totally empty stomach. It is during this time that fat burning is the most. Hence the most ideal time to jog will be early in the morning. For the first few weeks, you need to ensure that you don’t over burden your body. Jog as much as you can and once you feel that you cant jog anymore, stop right there and slow your jog to a relaxed walk.
f) Last of all, you need to have a good sleep. Good rest is needed for a body that does a lot of exercise. This keeps the body and mind both fresh and healthy.
