Elasticity

Core strengthening is a type of workout in the gym. Core strengthening is the process where one does not increase the mass of the muscle, but only makes the existing muscle more healthy and strong. It might not seem very impressive to the normal human being who would be dreaming of a body like that of Hulk Hogan. But then it has a lot of advantages of its own.

Core strengthening helps in making the existing muscle in your body to become stringer and expand outward to fit the frame of your body. The main advantage of core strengthening is that it helps you to become very strong without compromising on your flexibility, balance and stability. It does not reduce your mobility in any way.

On any given day, a Bruce Lee body or a Jackie Chan body is a much better bet than a Hulk Hogan body. The secret behind core strengthening is to choose weights that are just within your limits and keep pumping these weights until your muscles go numb. The secret behind core strengthening is the number of times you lift a weight.

By ensuring that the weights are just within your capacity, you ensure that you are able to increase the number of repetitions. Core strengthening ensures that your muscles stay fit and retain their shape even after long periods of gap between two gym workouts. Your skin’s elasticity is also not affected as the muscle grows into your skin without expanding it.

Bulking up muscles causes your skin to expand, and once you give a gap, the bulk reduces and causes the skin to sag. Hence core strengthening is the easiest way to maintain a good shape than bulking up.
