Inhaling Fumes

Sinusitis is one of the most irritating conditions that affect a person. Sinusitis is the filling up of phlegm in your sinus cavities in your face there by causing blocked nose and the feeling of heaviness of the head. If the fluids are left to remain long enough, it might even develop into a viral infection.

Sinusitis is characterized by running nose and extreme head ache. It can be very difficult to deal with as your nose gets completely blocked and you are unable to take in enough oxygen and your body literally screams for more oxygen.

How ever, it can be very dangerous to use some of the home made remedies which are followed on a regular basis. These remedies include the inhaling of pungent fumes of vinegar or the rubbing of axe oil etc. This is dangerous because the fumes produced cause damage to the nasal tissues.

So even if your nose block is temporarily removed, the problem keeps recurring. Sprays available in the market can also be very dangerous as we don’t know what side effects they might have.

Some very effective and safe solutions include drinking chicken soup, keeping your feet in cold water and constantly emptying your nose when ever you feel that the phlegm is coming out. But please remember not to use dangerous methods like inhaling fumes etc.
